The Cell Behaviour and Tissue Bioengineering Group offers a postdoctoral researcher position to contribute to the "Mechanobiology of the Immune response in Cancer" research line.
The project PID2021-125212OA-I00 includes studies on immune cell migration using in vitro 2D/3D cell cultures and On-Chip devices to study fundamental processes of immune migration in solid tumors and their microenvironment.Tasks:Technical support in cell culture techniques with human cell lines and primary cells.Technical support in fluorescent microscopy acquisition.Managing image processing and analysis of live imaging microscopy acquisitions.Basic requirements of the position:The candidate must have a PhD degree in Biophysics, Biology, Bioengineering or equivalent.Expertise in image/data analysis and coding is required (Python, Image J).Experience in cell culture and basic molecular biology techniques.Experience in microscopy imaging is highly valued.Expertise in Cellpose, Qpath and other image analysis software is highly valued.High level of spoken and written English.Research Center description:The Prince Felipe Research Centre, CIPF, was created to develop first-rate, competitive and internationally relevant research in the fields of Neurobiology, Advanced Therapies, Rare & Genetic Diseases, Molecular Mechanisms of Disease and Computational Genomics.
