VHIR offers a vacant position for technicians with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Image Analysis/Deep learning analysis within the Clinical Neuroimmunology and Neuroradiology Research groups. Education and qualifications: BSc in the field of biosciences, medicine, biology, informatics, physics, data science, mathematics, or engineering MSc in the field of informatics, physics, data science, mathematics, or engineering Experience and knowledge: Required: Experience in image analysis Experience in deep learning methods Proficiency in English (spoken and written) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, self-motivation, and teamwork abilities Strong academic drive Desired: Experience in other artificial intelligence methods apart from deep learning Knowledge of Spanish (B1 level or above) Excellent academic records Outstanding reference letters Scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals Conference abstracts in international conferences Main responsibilities and duties: Imaging data manipulation Pre-processing of neuroimaging data Image analysis Building of deep learning models Organizing follow-up meetings with supervisors Writing of conference abstracts and scientific papers On-site work (=80%) Absolute respect for supervisors, colleagues, staff, fellows, students and patients Labour conditions: Full-time position: 40h/week Duration: 36 months Starting date: Immediate Gross annual salary: 22.823,22 euros. Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities Flexible hours but =80% of the working time will be at the office (on-site) The worker will have a multidisciplinary panel of supervisors and a desk with a computer to carry out all the expected work Attendance at scientific conferences will be offered conditional upon results and attitude towards the project, allowing the worker to enjoy a very fruitful scientific environment What can we offer?
