The technician will also be responsible for drafting the technical reports related to the project and for maintaining and updating the experimental procedures.Key Duties Provide support for the research team's activities during sampling campaigns and sample processing.Conduct DNA extraction from wastewater samples.Perform whole genome and metagenomic analyses (bioinformatics).Standardize experimental procedures.Draft technical reports.Qualifications Education: Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.Qualifications and Education Level: Master's degree in Microbiology or an equivalent qualification.Skills: Strong ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary and research teams, demonstrating autonomy and a methodical approach.
A valid driving license is required.Languages: Spanish, English, and Catalan.Experience: Experience in manipulating and processing wastewater samples, conducting microbiological analyses, applying molecular biology techniques, drafting technical reports, and effectively presenting and communicating scientific and technical results.
Experience in molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics is required.Working Conditions Employed in compliance with Spanish legislation and regulations.
