Job title: HYBRID PEPTIDE-NANOPARTICLE SYSTEMS IN BIOMEDICINE AND CATALYSIS (HELICAL)
Research line / Scientific-technical services: Peptide materials.
Tasks to be performed
Synthesis of peptides and formation of hybrid structures.
Characterization of the compounds prepared by NMR, HPLC-MS, UV-Vis spectroscopy, circular dichroism and fluorescence.
Study of the ability of the prepared molecules to generate hybrid structures by spectroscopic and microscopic techniques.
Candidates are expected to have interest in multidisciplinary work and motivation to learn.
Academic Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, or similar.

Selection and Evaluation Criteria
Block 1
Training: Academic record (maximum 2 points).
Accredited level of English (maximum 1 point).
Block 2
Experience in peptide synthesis (maximum 2 points; 1 point/3 months).
Experience in molecular characterization of peptides (NMR, MS, etc.) (maximum 2 points; 1 point/3 months).
Experience in the use of spectroscopic and microscopic characterisation techniques (UV-Vis, circular dichroism, fluorescence, TEM, SEM, AFM, etc.) (maximum 1 point; 1 point/6 months).
Block 3
Personal interview for candidates who achieve a minimum score of 5 points in blocks 1 and 2 (maximum 2 points).
The call may be declared null if candidates do not reach a minimum score of 5 points in the selection criteria detailed in Block 1 and 2.
