Research line / Scientific-technical services: Development of Information Systems with advanced technologies such as DDM, LPS, GIS and CDS.
The EarthDL-UDC project aims to optimize the management of information stored in geospatial data lakes by integrating compact data structures, model-based development methods, and variability management strategies. This approach aims to create more efficient, user-friendly and cost-effective information systems.
TASKS TO BE PERFORMED Support/Assistance in research, software development and data preprocessing and feeding.
Requirements Research Field: Computer science
Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, Engineering, Architecture, Degree, Diploma, Technical Engineering or Technical Architecture.
MERIT ASSESSMENT CRITERIA Academic record of the Degree, Bachelor's Degree or Computer Engineering degree: up to 20 points. If it is a related degree, the score obtained will be multiplied by 0.5. Other degrees will not score in this section.
Academic record of the Master's degree in Computer Science: up to 20 points. If it is a related degree, the score obtained will be multiplied by 0.5. Other degrees will not score in this section.
Work experience (with contract) related to software development: up to 20 points. Up to 5 points will be given for each year of experience/course in activities or projects where the candidate can prove his/her participation.
Accreditation of English level, B2 or higher: 5 points.
Personal interview, provided that a minimum of 40 points is reached in the previous sections and only in the case of a possible tie between candidates: up to 15 points.
The personal qualities of the candidate will be valued, as well as the motivation to carry out research activities within the framework of a research training plan (master's degree, thesis...).
The call for applications may be declared void if the minimum of 40 points is not reached in the first 3 sections.
