TASKS TO BE PERFORMED A Research Support Assistant is required to assist and collaborate in the following tasks to be carried out during the 5 months of the contract:
Isolate and characterise extracellular vesicles.
Isolate RNA, DNA and proteins.
In vitro culture of human cell lines and primary cultures.
Test cell viability and proliferation of cell lines and primary cultures.
Establish cellular senescence in in vitro models.
Develop an in vitro model of inflammation.
Development of an in vitro model of senescence.
Performance of all the tasks described above, therefore the candidate must have experience in the following techniques:
Cell biology techniques and molecular biology techniques.
Extracellular vesicle isolation techniques.
Techniques for in vitro functional treatments with extracellular vesicles.
Development of cytotoxicity, viability and cell proliferation assays.
Additional Information Eligibility criteria:
COU, High School, FPII o CFGS. Excluded: Yes. Score: 0 points. Maximum: 0 points.
Experience in the isolation and characterisation of extracellular vesicles: No. Scoring: 10 points/year. Maximum: 20 points.
Experience in cytotoxicity, cell viability and proliferation, and senescence assays. Experience in in vitro models of inflammation. Excludable: No. Score: 5 points/year. Maximum: 25 points.
Personal interview. Maximum: 5 points.
At the end of the selection process, a waiting list will be created with the candidates having a minimum score of 20 points.
