Thanks to our business growth, Cerner Enviza is looking for a new talented research manager.
In this role, you will manage the delivery of quantitative and/or qualitative commercial studies across the European Commercial Team in an autonomous way.
An important part of this role will also be to mentor junior members of the team and act as a role model.

This position is based in Madrid (Spain), but you would also have the opportunity to work with our colleagues based in the UK, France & Germany.
MISSION Commercial acumen / Client relationship Day to day direct relationship with clients throughout the project; Leads the project team to deliver on client requests; Creates and drafts parts of proposals; Manages a number of existing client contacts with a view to actively seeking out repeat business opportunities; Good understanding of client business issues; Supervises costing processes, prepares draft costs; Monitors project costs and profitability, understanding business impact; Prepare and deliver impactful client presentations.
Project Management Proactively updates the project director; Supervises and validates each project step (Set up / FW / DP / Timelines / Analysis / Deliverable/Admin); Resource allocation follow-up; Alerts and manages the teams on costs to achieve on-budget projects; Monitors time spent on projects (own, project team).
Leadership and project team management Monitor day to day project team activities effectively, optimizing task allocation between all stakeholders and working in close collaboration with resource managers; Be responsible for the successful development, growth and well-being of junior team members and ensure client and team satisfaction; Oversee workload of junior members & developing their time management skills; Coach juniors and act as a role model; Responsible for onboarding and on-the-job training of project team members and collaboration across the EU region and ensuring the team gains key competencies required for progression; Proactively takes a lead in internal initiatives and work streams designed to improve our offer, internal efficiencies or talent development; Gives specialist advice to internal stakeholders or external clients; Cares about team commitment, motivation and well-being.
Working Environment This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment.
If you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote.
If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote.
Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, biology, agronomy, statistics, pharmacy, or similar; Minimum 4 years' experience in delivering high quality project management in Life Sciences (Market Research preferably); Solid experience in quantitative methodologies; Fluency in English C2 and Spanish; You are client oriented, with excellent understanding of client objectives and needs; You have demonstrable client & project management skills; Ability to coach and mentor junior researchers; Ability to inspire and motivate people within research teams; Excellent communication and writing skills - able to distill issues, manage client expectations and act as a trusted advisor in a timely manner; Strong organizational skills, self-starter and fast learner, you react to change productively.
