Descripción del Puesto
Research Engineer position in the Wireless Networking Group. The group undertakes cutting-edge experimental research with equipment that represents the forefront of research and innovation. The candidate will participate in the research experiments (helping with the preparation of the setup, execution and reporting as well as with maintaining the data) using the experimental platforms available, in the laboratory maintenance (inventory, organization), and in the update of projects' webpages.
As a member of the Wireless Networking Group, the candidate will have a unique opportunity to work in a multi-cultural environment and contribute to the advancement of the technology of future wireless networks.
Responsibilities
Planning, setting up and undertaking controlled experiments and trials.
Recording, analyzing and interpreting data.
Providing technical support to the researchers of the team.
Writing reports, reviews, and summary.
Ordering and maintaining laboratory stock and resources.
Move, reallocate, and reinstall equipment.
Academic Qualifications / Skills
BSc in electrical, telecommunication engineering or an equivalent field.
Experience and/or qualifications operating laboratory electronic equipment (Multimeter, power sources, oscilloscope).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of programming languages/tools: Python, MATLAB, Git, C, C++.
Contract Duration and Type
12 months, renewable based on performance.
Full-time contract. Includes social and health benefits.
