It houses MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe, and is now hosting entity for EuroHPC JU, which leads large-scale investments and HPC provision in Europe.

Context And Mission The High Performance Artificial Intelligence research group is growing, requiring a stronger structure in which experienced researchers take responsibility and proactivity in the growth of the group.
This position is intended to manage the practical aspects of a specific research project.
Key Duties Leading development efforts of projects related to foundational models Head projects for multimodal LLMs Influence and suggest improvements over the devOps and MLOps systems Contributing to the writing of competitive funding proposals Leading research papers and their dissemination Requirements Education Degree in STEM MSc in Artificial Intelligence Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience Professional experience in at least 3 programming languages (3 years each) Understanding of the AI field in width, with experience in at least 3 types of learning and/or reasoning paradigms.
Experience with Pytorch and TensorFlow (2 years min) Experience with CUDA, OpenMP, and MPI Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience Experience with AWS Docker, Kubernetes, Openstack DVC, MLFlow DL frameworks (Pytorch/TF) Linear programming Constraint programming Competences Leadership of groups.
