Steelmaking, Casting & Scrap Area is one R&D department aligned with ArcelorMittal objectives to ensure tomorrow's steel production, focused on new green routes, optimized use of scrap, and new technologies in electric routes, as well as enhancing steel processes by developing the most suitable solutions involved in global research projects.
We are looking for a Researcher with expertise in project management, mining, industrial, or material sciences to support the steelmaking, casting & scrap team in the field of green steel production routes, projects related to scrap characterization, EAF routes, and casting processes with new technologies development.
This research engineer will be involved in steel process transformation by leading projects and giving support to the plants to implement the most suitable solutions. This person will also interact with the whole ArcelorMittal community: Global R&D specialists and technicians, plant experts, corporate teams, etc., and develop collaborative research with external partners (academic laboratories, technical centers, suppliers).
