Context And Mission: The High Performance Artificial Intelligence research group is boosting research on Foundational models and LLMs, looking for motivated engineers who wish to contribute to the understanding, improvement, and deployment of these systems.
This position is intended to work in both research and development, exploring ways to improve foundational models and porting those improvements to society.
Key Duties: Contribute to the review of the state-of-the-art for foundation models Conduct the design and training of AI models Implement reliable, reproducible, and automated training and evaluation methodologies Document and disseminate the work done Requirements: Education: Degree in STEM Master in STEM Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience: Experience with Git Docker (1 year minimum) Experience in LLMs and Transformers training (1 year minimum) Experience with HPC infrastructure and pipelines (CI/CD, Slurm, Singularity) Experience with Torch and TF (1 year minimum) Experience in LLM inference and evaluation (1 year minimum) Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience: Fluent English and Spanish are a must.
