Research Assistant In The Polymers & Soft Matter Group

The Polymers & Soft Matter Group at CFM is offering a research assistant position (2 months) starting in October to work with Dr. Jon Maiz, in collaboration with Dr. Ester Verde and Dr. Sebastián Bonardd, in the synthesis and characterization of fluorinated-based materials.

The positions will be funded by the Research Association MPC - Materials Physics Center. The salary will be of 17.398,20 euros year before taxes.

The Polymer and Soft Matter Group at the Center of Materials Physics addresses fundamental problems related to the structural and dynamical properties of soft matter systems, mainly based on polymers. Current research systems in the group include polymer blends, nanocomposites, and copolymers. Expertise in polymer synthesis will be highly valued for this position, along with a background in experimental methods such as calorimetric and spectroscopy techniques.
