.Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Participates in gathering new product ideas through product ideation/ competitive check with Culinary R&D.Plans/ formulates/ implements activities required to deliver new products as defined by the approved marketing calendar.Commercial translation of approved recipe and processes for commissaries and stores.Accountable for accuracy of documented standards of new products endorsed to the R&D Senior Manager.Conducts and or supervises teach back to commissary and Learning and Development/ Training.Ensures control of developmental process.Prepares samples for product presentation and approval of CC as needed.Participates in gathering information/ ideas on possible improvements that would generate savings or result in process efficiency.Plans/ formulates/ implements product improvement activities approved for implementation.Commercial translation of improved recipe and processes for commissaries and stores.Accountable for accuracy of documented standards of improved products endorsed to the R&D Senior Manager for approval.Conducts and or supervises teach back to commissary production.Ensures control of developmental process.Prepares samples for product presentation and approval of CC as needed.Assists / recommends potential projects that would impact on reduction of food cost.Assures effective evaluation of alternative materials for endorsement as approved alternative product material.Maintains and safeguards manuals, technical data, raw material specifications for local and international standards, per assigned category.Oversees maintenance and upkeep of equipment, utilities, and storage.Transacts oracle related activities (such as move order transaction).Coordinates and communicates with other units in matters of common concern to maintain effective and harmonious work relationship.Leads other R&D Specialists in the task team assigned to each one of them that aims to improve their leadership potential and project management.Coaches, mentors, and develops team members.Monitors Specialists and General Helper's performance.Prepares objective performance evaluation of staff for concurrence of R&D Senior Manager.Conducts performance discussions with staff together with R&D Manager.Must-haves:A degree holder in Food Technology, Nutrition & Dietetics, Chemical Engineering, BS Chemistry.At least three (3) years of work experience as R&D Specialist or of the same level, in the food industry (food manufacturing and food service).Certified Serve Safe Practitioner preferred.Knowledge in food science and technology principles, sensory evaluation techniques, and creative ability to concretize product concepts and translate them effectively in physical form.Computer proficiency on MS Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).Cooking / Baking skills.Technical Writing.Coaching, Mentoring Skills.Amenable to working onsite and being assigned in Carmona, Cavite
