Whether you've got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.Research Analyst (Maternity cover - 6 months) – Spain (Madrid or Barcelona)The Research Analyst will support the Spain market by using data from JLL and other sources to analyze market conditions and effectively tell the commercial real estate story to our clients and business partners.The Research Analyst will track and analyze the Spain commercial real estate market with a focus on trend analysis, market presentation, client meetings, strategic business development support, research content creation and research innovation.
You will contribute to strategic business development efforts.
You will work closely with external research colleagues, brokerage professionals and clients in the local market, as well as with research colleagues throughout the region.What this job involvesClosely monitor the Spain real estate market (office, logistics, retail, living…) including data related to properties, leases, tenants, availabilities, developments, sales and owners.Become an expert on the local economy, job and industry makeup, demographics and local market company growth to tell a compelling story about the local market.Communicate data excellence and insights via traditional reporting products and the use of advanced data visualization tools, including JLL's new and proprietary technology.Actively contribute to JLL's internal data management system and adopt or discover new creative uses for its content and visualization tools.Publish quarterly market reports on property types in the Spain market.Partner with brokerage leaders to contribute to business development efforts and grow the business.Contribute to client presentations by covering market intelligence, trends, and statistics.Develop strong relationships with internal and external clients and facilitate the use of research as a differentiator including being client facing and externally focused on new business efforts.Keep track and inform business leaders of local and national commercial real estate news.Desired skills and experience for this jobBachelor's degree preferred in economics, consulting, statistics, real estate, economic development, urban planning or other related fields.English advanced.Real interest in real estate with a strong commitment to learning micro- and macro-level market dynamics.Excellent Excel skills with PBI and/or Tableau skills a bonus.GIS experience is a plus (MapIT, ArcGIS, etc.
