Reporting Support Specialist, Amazon MusicDESCRIPTIONWe are seeking a detail-oriented Reporting Support Specialist to support the team with data flows and reporting to Business, Finance, and Leadership. This role assists with planning cycles for marketing costs, reporting with budget goals.Key job responsibilitiesAssist in creating reports by combining financial data from Oracle with project data from monday.com, focusing on data extraction, cleaning, and integration.Maintain data integrity by implementing and monitoring consistent use of common fields in monday.com, and develop coding scripts under guidance.Support the planning process (OP and R&O cycles) for marketing and content spend by developing automated data pipelines from monday.com to planning tools.Respond to routine ad hoc reporting requests from stakeholders, utilizing SQL queries and data visualization tools.Identify and implement technical improvements in reporting processes, such as automating data collection, creating reusable report templates, and optimizing database queries for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.Compile and analyze month-over-month movements in marketing & content spend for accounting reports, and assist in preparing OP2 / Guidance variance reports for finance using advanced Excel functions and/or BI tools.Collaborate with IT and other technical teams to resolve data discrepancies, implement new data collection methods, and integrate new data sources as needed.Stay updated on the latest reporting tools, data analysis techniques, and best practices in financial and project data management to continuously enhance the team's technical capabilities.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis.Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes.High attention to detail, especially when working with large datasets, to ensure accuracy in reporting.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of Tableau, Quick Sight, Power BI.Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, Cognos) and other financial systems (Oracle, SAP).Knowledge of monday.com, Asana, JIRA.Experience with Zapier, Microsoft Power Automate, IFTTT or make.com.Understanding of financial planning, particularly related to marketing costs, is desirable.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
