You will be responsible for consolidating the Group results for Aggregate Industries UK limited (AIUK) and its group of companies and reporting them into the parent company, Holcim Ltd. In addition, you will be responsible for completing statutory accounts with the external auditors for a number of legal entities. The individual will also support the HARPist to ensure the group's compliance with the Holcim Accounting and Reporting Principles (HARP). The ideal candidate will be adept at financial data consolidation, analysis, and presenting insights to support strategic decision-making. The role is an ideal opportunity for someone to get to know a very complex legal entity structure and business whilst providing added value in assisting the team to achieve key strategic goals.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly consolidated results and analysis, quarterly reporting and annual submission for Holcim Ltd in line with parent reporting requirements.Assist in the production of all statutory accounts, FRS101, FRS102 and full IFRS, along with coordination of external auditors and the in-house tax department.Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify financial information.Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.Support external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure successful audit results.Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a candidate who possesses a combination of technical accounting knowledge, analytical prowess, and effective communication skills.
