We are seeking a skilled and motivated Renewable Energy Consultant to provide technical and business development support throughout all phases of solar PV and other RE projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting technical due diligence reports, design reviews, and supporting the preparation of technical and financial offers for private and multilateral clients. The role will be based in our Sant Cugat office in Barcelona , with occasional travel required for short term stays on project sites.
Functions and responsibilities:
Conducting technical due diligence reports, including PV resource analysis, grid connection evaluation, and site assessments.
Reviewing and approving main project design engineering documentation.
Supporting the preparation of Expressions of Interest/Prequalification dossiers, technical and financial offers in reply to RfPs.
Providing technical and business development support throughout all project phases.
Addressing all functions and responsibilities to private and multilateral clients (Asian Development Bank, World Bank, African Development Bank, InterAmerican development Bank, European Investment Bank and other).
Education & Requirements:
BSc in Engineering.
MSc in Renewable Energy would be favorably considered.
Minimum 3 years' experience in similar positions.
Experience in EMEA regions is a valuable factor.
MUST HAVE: Native or full professional proficiency in Spanish and Proficiency in English.
French would be favorably considered.
Other personal competences & requirements:
Staying up-to-date with solar PV software such as PVSyst, PV case and other.
Efficient communication, meeting organization, and reporting.
Proactivity and flexibility.
Efficient problem resolution.
Advanced knowledge and experience in MS Office package.
