.At ING we are looking for (Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst) Your role and work environment: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst to join our Financial and Regulatory Reporting Team.
The responsibility of this team is handling the external financial and regulatory reporting data delivery to Bank of Spain and Head-Office.
This includes answering ad hoc data requests and maintaining the day-to-day relationship with Head Office.
The team also drives continuous improvements in the reporting processes and data quality.

Your key responsibilities: As a Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst you will: Understand the end-to-end Finance processes, data model and architecture, including the interdependencies with other domains.
Keep ongoing development and technical refinement of the data requirements to ensure compliance with the reporting requirements from the regulator.
Implement improvement actions during the data processing to optimize the flow to meet tight deadlines.
Collaborate actively in different projects involving the reporting area, acting as a technical consultant.
Maintain a solid control framework to ensure the integrity of ING's regulatory reports:Identify and follow-up on data quality issues in the reporting process including root cause analysis, in close collaboration with the Data Quality Office.
Perform source data vs. general ledger and cross-report reconciliations.
Understand and explain main developments in the reports through technical and analytical reviews.

A strong set of technical and analytical abilities: Master's or bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience (preferably in banking and/or consulting).
Superb analytical skills, being able to analyse large amounts of data and to put outcomes in a wider perspective.
Proven experience in data analysis, using PLSQL tools and SAS programs.
Knowledge in the usage of Power BI / Power Query in Excel.
High level of autonomy and initiative.
Pro-active attitude and ability to operate in a demanding and changing environment.
Problem-solving mindset.
Excellent speaking and writing skills in English is a must.
