As we continue to innovate and expand, we're seeking a Regulatory Expert to join our team and uphold our unwavering commitment to product safety.Position Overview: As the Regulatory Expert - Deputy for Head of Product Stewardship, your mission will be to ensure compliance for all chemical products worldwide, adhering according to global, regional, and local regulations.
Reporting directly to the Head of Product Stewardship and deputizing this position as well, this is a hybrid role based in any EU location.Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance for all chemical products worldwide by processing global, regional & local regulations for chemicals with focus on REACH and REACH-like regulations.Leadership function of any kind of regulatory projects with company-wide effects including the coordination of external service providers such as Only Representative (OR) consultants.Deputy functions for the Head of Product Stewardship include leading the global Product Stewardship Team in absent times, leading our global product safety & regulatory team, providing both technical expertise and leadership, budgetary aspects, and general Product Stewardship project coordination.Serve as the main point of contact for both internal and external inquiries regarding product safety/regulatory concerns including worldwide collaboration with other key functions and specialist departments.Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes related to product safety, dangerous goods, and regulatory services.Support Substance Volume Tracking (SVT) initiatives on a global scale.Generate and coordinate registrations and notifications on a global level and develop guidance and execute registration strategies, such as inventory listings and pre-registrations.Provide regulatory support for new material creations, including research & development, product and raw material management of change processes and participation in official approval procedures.Process regulatory customer inquiries (internal/external) and create compliance certificates.Stay updated on chemical regulations worldwide, including REACH and similar legislation.Provide internal training on product safety/regulatory matters and coordinate with external service providers.Take charge of projects concerning product safety/regulatory, including SAP/EHS setup, raw material/data cleanup, and process updates.Oversee EHS Masterdata management and compliance, ensuring accurate classification, labeling, packaging, and more
