We offer a range of products including FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments, and API integration.Regulatory Compliance Manager - UK & EU Focused (specialising in MiFID and FX Derivative products)Location: Ebury Leon / Malaga / Madrid Office - Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from homeDepartment: Regulatory ComplianceThe Regulatory Compliance Manager sits within the Regulatory Compliance department, reporting to the Head of Compliance Advisory and to the Head of Compliance Belgium.The candidate must demonstrate proven organisational and time management skills, have excellent communication skills - with fluency in English, both written and verbal, being essential. The working environment is fast-paced, agile and highly results-oriented, so the individual must be comfortable working within tight deadlines, with various projects and jurisdictions. In addition, the individual must be comfortable working autonomously and have good interpersonal skills to interact with the local and group Compliance teams.This role will be both UK and EU focused, with all of the work being performed in English. Any candidates with previous UK FCA knowledge will be prioritised.Minimum Requirements:Previous experience working at a Fintech, specialising in MiFID and FX Derivative products.At least 4 years of previous working experience within a financial regulated institution.Expert understanding of MiFID II, EMIR, MIFIR and technical standards as these apply to Investment Firms.Knowledge and understanding of PSD2 and ability to interpret and provide advisory as to the performance of FX Payments.Knowledge and previous experience within second line advisory including around FX Products, Processes, Policies, Controls, Financial Promotions, Safeguarding, etc.Expert knowledge in reading, understanding, and providing analysis of regulation both in the EU and abroad.Development and implementation of new controls based on applicable regulations.Experience and responsibility for advisory in controls including, Complaints, breaches, Conflicts of Interest, Personal Account Dealing, and others.Previous knowledge in working with internal and external auditors and dealing with recommendations.Knowledge and previous experience in policy drafting, reviewing, and development.Knowledge and previous experience in regulatory reporting obligations and transaction reporting.Responsible for the ongoing performance of Horizon Scanning and development of Gap Analysis as to the new requirements.Previous experience in the development of Frameworks and Proposals for the development of new verticals and products.Knowledge in completing Management Information.Creation and ongoing development of trainings to various business areas.Expert knowledge in recordkeeping and log keeping.
