That's where you come in; we are looking for an energized Sales Engineering VP to join our growing international market. As the VP, Sales Engineering leader you'll inspire a team of collaborative, strategic, and dynamic solutions leaders and consultants. This role is a highly visible leadership position at Commvault and reports directly to the VP, Global Services. In addition to setting the strategic vision for sales engineering for the international region, you'll lead compelling technical customer engagements. With excellence in mind, you'll coach and mentor the existing team and be responsible for scaling and hiring during a phase of hyper-growth.
The Sales Engineering team at Commvault is the primary technical function within our sales organization. In this role, you'll lead a team of Directors whose teams serve as trusted advisors. Together, you'll strive to employ a consultative, values-driven approach to prospective customer engagements. Your team's goal is to effectively partner with sales teams to generate interest in Commvault and showcase how our portfolio can meet a prospect's business needs.
How you'll make your mark Develop a strong partnership with your sales team working in close collaboration to build the long-term strategy in all aspects of field organizational design and delivery.
Establish a robust development plan that creates an evolution of the Commvault SE (now and in the future) as well as oversee technical enablement/onboarding for the Sales Engineering team in the international region in partnership with our internal enablement team.
Lead and coach regional leadership teams, including second line people leaders and high-level individual contributors (including but not limited to Portfolio sellers, Specialists, Channel/Partner SE's and the Inside SE team).
Develop and execute hiring plans to effectively scale the sales engineering organization.
