Reporting to the Strategic Partnership Head, the Regional Tender Manager (RTM) designs, manages and monitors all regional activities regarding Public Health to ensure new products access to public calendars, develops tender shaping to maximize brand objectives for current portfolio, and maximizes current contracts consumptions and price, developing public affairs functions at regional level while managing purchase model optimization. Digitizes each activity for regional implementation in coordination with medical and support functions with all public health relevant stakeholders.
As Regional Tender Manager Vacunas within our Vaccines team, you will act with a strategic mindset, scientific knowledge, high impact negotiation abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve the organization's goals in the public health domain.
Key Responsibilities
Leading regional contact at public health level, acting as a reference person in the region while combining different stakeholders profiles (technicians, vaccines, politicians, economical) which requires deep knowledge of vaccines:
Prepare and execute annual regional plans reflecting the strategy of each franchise and its implementation.
Shape tenders through optimal purchase model and brand differentiation in current portfolio.
Facilitate access for new products:
Product access before procurement (New vaccine in current programs, new antigen in a program, New vaccination programs).
Prepare environment for upcoming budget impact and price acceptability.
Ensure knowledge of technical product info / SmPc in F2F meetings, scientific activities, data information, etc., and understanding of the impact in the vaccination calendar of the region of current and future competition (long term view).
Work with technicians and PHD for a % weight technical criteria maximizing Sanofi brands differentiation.
Coordinate specific product sessions with the most relevant stakeholders in each region to maximize opportunities for our products, identifying and embedding in regional access strategies the regional decision-making processes.
Shape tenders through purchase model and brand differentiation in current portfolio:
Manage price weight vs technical criteria to maximize opportunities for our products at regional level with public health.
Effectively work to obtain services valued to be included in tender criteria.
Ensure internal tender regional team prepares documentation with customer needs for the best bid proposal.
Beyond procurement:
Review tender criteria and reach the acceptance and introduction of our products features with stakeholders decision makers, in order to maximize actions and messages for next tenders.
Customer needs follow up.
Manage incidences during the contract as the relevant contact person while coordinating actions at internal level to ensure customer voice and resolution.
Work with Com ops to obtain the year-end closing figures.
Non-specific product activities - company image, adult vaccination calendar, portfolio management agreement. Enlarge VCR:
Stakeholders engagement activities design, implement and monitor/track.
Monitor key stakeholders evolution in relevant objectives by managing specific KPIs on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
External partners coordination in frames of planning and execution of regional actions included in regional access plans.
Regional public affairs approach for vaccines and prevention.
Stakeholders profile:
Public Health Directors, Public health commission members.
Public health technicians, NITAG members + other technicians.
Public health contracting bodies.
Relevant stakeholders at the central MoH.
Vaccination regional advisory boards members.
Head preventive, epidemiologic services in key hospitals if part of regional vaccines committees.
Responsible of regional key societies: pharmacists, nurses, paeds, GPs, etc.
Other regional responsibles: economical bodies, logistics, etc.
Team profile:
Strategic skills to manage short and mid-term objectives.
Good understanding of local law and decision-making process at national and regional level (interactions).
High-level conversation: technical scientific, negotiation and communication skills.
Scientific speech to manage both technical and political messages among disease awareness, data publication and products profiles considering budget impact.
Teamwork and transversal skills.
Digital savvy: skills and intuitive knowledge to operate digitally on a day-to-day basis.
