As a Blackline Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing regional and national distribution partners located within your territory and delivering strong revenue growth. In this role you will identify and create new business opportunities with your distributors and end-users to achieve all sales and profit targets. The successful candidate will be comfortable meeting with and presenting to distributors, field level end users, and the C-suite.Key Responsibilities:Drive sales growth through distribution partners by supporting their sales and marketing effortsProvide field level support conducting end-user calls with distributor sales representativesSupport distribution through the entire sales process from initial contact to purchase order and transition to the implementation teamOngoing generation of new opportunities, both with distribution and directly with end-users, contributing to sales funnel growth to support sales quota achievementTimely follow up on leads created by Blackline demand generation effortsIdentify and qualify new distribution as required to ensure appropriate geographic and vertical market coverageWork with the world's leaders to transform their overall safety programsGenerate new business by developing customer relationships in their regions and vertical marketsAttend industry trade shows promoting the Blackline brand growth, industry networking, securing new leads, and enhancing relationships with existing clientsProvide weekly pipeline opportunity updates to Director of Sales including progress on specific distribution opportunities and status of prospective end-user clientsSelf-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goalsDesired Skills / Experience:Self-motivated, critical thinker with a proven ability to execute strategic sales plansResults focused demonstrated through consistent success in increasingly senior sales rolesExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationshipsDemonstrated network of clients which can lead to immediate opportunitiesStrong background of strategic account management as a manufacturer representative or distributor sales professionalExperience selling complex, strategic business solutionsProven track record of providing large enterprise sales solutionsAbove average capabilities with productivity tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)High degree of proficiency with CRMMinimum Requirements:Minimum 5 years B2B with a distributor or manufacturer selling complex services or productsExperience selling gas detection or safety-related services is considered a benefitA track record of success increasing market share and securing net new business through a distribution business modelPosition Overview:Full-time salary plus commissionCompensation includes health benefits, car allowance, expense coverage, paid vacation, and access to Blackline optionsTravel availability of 50%About Blackline SafetyBlackline Safety is a world leader in the development and manufacturing of wirelessly connected safety products.
