Position title: Regional Sales Manager Location: Home office / north of Spain
Reports to: Head of Regional Sales
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, hybrid working system
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will drive key account execution in the FDM (Food, Drug, Mass-Merchandise) market sector and deliver top-line sales revenue for our brands in northern Spain. You will ensure our products are available to the right customers, aligning with our brand strategy and focusing on excellent new product execution. You will implement consumer and shopper-driven strategies to achieve outstanding results for Newell Brands.
You will be working independently, as part of a sales team of four people.
We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.
Your Key Responsibilities: Manage assigned accounts directly. Occasional visits to supermarkets/hypermarkets in the area. Prepare and execute annual budgets for the accounts. Day-to-day management of the promotional calendar: evaluation and course correction, leading the process for managing trade spends and pricing in conjunction with the management of the promotional calendar. Work with demand planning to develop accurate sales forecasts and achieve specified levels of forecast accuracy. Build customer relationships at the Assistant Buyer/Buyer level and facilitate connectivity in other functional areas, including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance, doing the same across internal Newell functions to enhance information sharing and decision-making. Ensure proper reporting of sales activity performed. Develop relationships with listed accounts and potential customers. What You'll Need Minimum: Proven sales experience in similar roles or industries. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Full Spanish Driver's Licence. Fluent Spanish and advance English (written and spoken). Your advantage: High-energy self-starter with strong teamwork and prioritisation skills. Strong drive for achieving results.
