Are you looking for a new commercial challenge in a fast-growing scale-up where you can have an impact on sustainability with your everyday job? We're on the lookout for an Italian-speaking Regional Sales Director who will join our rapidly growing office based in Barcelona! We've been selected by Techleap's Rise Program as a leader in tackling climate change and raised EUR 13 million to support our growth. We have a passionate, entrepreneurial, and international team and we cannot wait to welcome you!
The Challenge As the RSD, you will be responsible for continuing to scale and lead our Italian sales organization (Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives) based in Barcelona. As an integral part of our sales leadership team, you will work alongside leaders from across the business to build reliable, scalable, and successful sales teams.
While leading by example - actively approaching potential customers and owning your sales funnel, you will:
Forecast, report on, and achieve quarterly and annual demand generation and revenue targets of your team;Recruit, hire, coach, and manage the teams;Collaborate with sales leadership for targeted training and development of team members;Motivate individuals and the team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship;Provide insightful feedback and reporting to the broader sales leadership team.Your profileAt least 5 years of experience building & managing high-performing sales teams;Experience driving results in a direct, outbound sales environment – short sales cycles;Fluent in spoken and written Italian and English;Experienced in using & optimizing CRMs (we use Hubspot) and other supporting sales software;High energy, willingness to learn, and a self-starter;Additional nice-to-have experience includes experience in the SME sector, manufacturing space, and software sales.Why us?You can play a key role in the growth of our company and by that creating a smart and sustainable industry;We have an open culture where you get a lot of freedom and where taking ownership is valued;We like to have you around, but you also get the opportunity to work remote (abroad) for up to 2 months per year;Legendary lunches, drinks, and other activities with colleagues (our office manager Elise exceeds our expectations every time);…And we obviously offer you the usual: a contract for 32-40 hours per week, 23 holidays, €500 contribution to set up/improve your home office, and travel reimbursement to get to our great office.
