We're changing our way of working to be able to offer our customers a seamless shopping experience.This means that we need to accelerate our omni customer experience and put omni at the core of our business.Job Description- You develop and implement the Public Affairs agenda and strategy together with H&M Group's Public Affairs team to advance the company's position on key issues.- You lead and implement all Public Affairs activities within the region, including proactive and reactive communications on position papers, legislative proposals, government consultations, and other strategic political developments.- In partnership with corporate communications, you develop organizational key messages and other materials to reach key opinion leaders.- You monitor the political discussions in the region and understand how our work ladders up to them or vice-versa.- You are the point of contact between global and the sales market teams to ensure aligned agendas and share key learnings.- You are a spokesperson for H&M Group on Public Affairs within the region.- You simplify the complexity of legislative activity, connecting the dots for leaders, showcasing potential business impact and striving to constantly link lobbying activity to the company's other parts of the business including sales.- You work through ambiguity, in a challenging sector, and demonstrate leadership and analytical skills as well as impact through clear actions.- You take responsibility, engage, and inspire as a natural agile leader.Qualifications- A background in Politics, Law, Communications, Business, or any related field is desired.- Previous experience in working for a think tank, NGOs, or highly regulated industry is beneficial.- Proven track record of how lobbying actions have influenced business activities.- 8 to 10 years' experience in a similar role.- Public speaking.- Experience from large and complex cross-functional projects with an international dimension.- Fluent in speaking and writing in English and French; other regional languages are a plus.Additional InformationThis is a permanent position based in Paris, France.
