Operating across multiple regions, they are committed to using quality as a competitive advantage to improve patients' lives.Our client is seeking an experienced leader to spearhead their regional commercial quality function, ensuring compliance, fostering innovative solutions, and elevating quality standards across the region.Discover more about our Regional Head of Commercial Quality opportunity; its objectives, duties/responsibilities, and the skills, experience, and competencies needed to succeed.Your objectives:As the Regional Head of Quality, you will be measured against the following objectives:Leading the transformation and standardisation of the Commercial Quality network.Develop and inspire a high-performing regional team, fostering collaboration and alignment with global quality goals.Proactively address quality risks, ensuring affiliate readiness for regulatory inspections and quality audits.What you will do:As the Regional Head of Quality, your duties and responsibilities will include:· Serve as the primary Regional Affiliate Quality contact for operational matters and collaborate with local operations and management teams to ensure alignment with global requirements.· Appoint, develop, and manage talent across regional affiliates, fostering integration and collaboration.· Partner with local management to optimize quality capabilities and resources to support business objectives.· Lead the integration of GMP/GDP practices across affiliates to ensure compliance with international standards.· Oversee quality audits, risk assessments, and governance processes to maintain compliance and implement effective corrective actions.· Ensure affiliate readiness for GXP regulatory inspections, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.· Act as Deputy Responsible Person (RP) for GDP activities in the region, ensuring active oversight and addressing potential compliance risks.· Drive process improvements and compliance initiatives through collaboration with global and regional teams.What you will bring:These are the skills and experience you will need to succeed as the Regional Head of Commercial Quality:· Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus) and proficiency in MS Office tools.· Experience with e-document management, CAPA systems, training, and audit tools.· In-depth knowledge of global pharmaceutical regulations and their practical application.· Strong auditing, root cause analysis, and risk management skills.· Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic, multicultural environment.· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience influencing senior leadership.· Demonstrated ability to manage projects across geographies and drive results in fast-paced settings.· A Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Engineering, Microbiology, or related field (advanced degree preferred).· Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus, with at least 10 years of experience in a leadership role within a regulated industry.Got what it takes?To apply for the Regional Head of Commercial Quality, click the 'Apply' button below or contact the Team Leader ( Aidan Russell ) – on +44 (0)203 355 7050.Please Note:· This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position.
