This is a unique opportunity to join us as a Regional Finance Controller/EMEA (M/F/d) reporting to the Executive Finance Director Braking.
In this key role, you will proactively participate in the planning and managing of finance initiatives and strategies for the business operating unit while interfacing with operations management, sales team, R&D, plant controllers, and accounting/finance staff, and corporate finance and accounting.
The Regional Finance Controller has 6 direct reports.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvides timely and accurate financial analysis support to the business operating management.Assists in the development and management of the budget, including ongoing variance analysis.Participates in the weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual consolidated forecast.Participates in the consolidation of the business plan at the group level.Provides financial analysis and controls covering diverse financial issues, e.g., leasing, capitalization, assets, projects, allocations.Develops and maintains effective working relationships within the business unit, including its various locations along with corporate financial management.Insures compliance with global financial policies and procedures, including US GAAP and local reporting requirements.Provides financial analysis and control for projects and major initiatives.Supervise the work of 1 or more financial analysts.Ensure that internal controls are implemented that will safeguard the company assets in a cost-effective manner and meet Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.Review plant financial statements through both desktop analysis and site visits.Provide training and assistance to site finance teams.Review capital investment projects.Support the internal audit process at the sites.Required SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
