The Property Maintenance team is recruiting for a Regional Building Surveyor to join their busy and expanding team of 20. The position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Property Maintenance team delivering professional, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance for all of our UK stores.

Location The role will be field-based and the location is flexible.
Working Rota Monday to Friday
Working Hours 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, 40 hours per week.
What You'll Be Doing: Management of small and multi-site projects for the retail team. Procurement and management of planned and reactive maintenance contractors. Liaising with landlords and agents on interim and terminal schedules of dilapidations, negotiating claims to limit potential liability. Providing technical support and advice to the property helpdesk. Surveying, tendering, and management of large property maintenance projects. Management of health and safety in small shop-fitting and building-related projects. Provision of a 24/7 on-call emergency assistance to the retail team. Contractor site auditing. What We're Looking For: Ideally qualified to HND level in Building Surveying or equivalent. Knowledge and experience of construction safety legislation. Experience working in a fast-paced retail property maintenance environment. Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally. Commercial awareness and understanding of the need to ensure and demonstrate value for money. Practical knowledge of building pathology and remedies. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
