Join Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Team
We are seeking a Refrigeration Specialist who will be responsible for providing expert support and guidance to drive safety, performance and maintenance of refrigeration systems across a portfolio of sites. Additionally, networking and collaborating with partner teams to innovate and implement world class refrigeration solutions.
Key Job Responsibilities
Remote Monitoring: Utilising advanced monitoring tools and software platforms to remotely monitor the performance and operational parameters of industrial refrigeration systems across multiple sites.
Alarm Management: Responding promptly to system alarms and alerts, investigating the root cause of any deviations from normal operating conditions.
Data Analysis: Analysing data collected from monitoring systems to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues with refrigeration system performance.
Maintenance Coordination: Working closely with on-site RME personnel to schedule preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for industrial refrigeration systems.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting efforts.
Maintenance Optimisation: Collaborating with field RME teams to develop and implement best practices for preventive and predictive maintenance of refrigeration systems.
Technical Support: Serving as a technical resource for troubleshooting complex issues and conducting root cause analysis.
Continuous Improvement: Driving initiatives to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of refrigeration systems.
Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Significant experience in industrial refrigeration systems, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, equipment, and components.
- Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or related field. Or an Apprenticeship in Refrigeration or similar.
- Food Safety Qualifications.
