The B2C Analytics team focuses on developing analytics solutions to help the organization make better data-driven decisions. Our team is passionate about enabling others to use data and analysis to measure and monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and find ways to continually add value.You will support the Consumer side of the business, which includes WSJ, Barron's, MarketWatch and more; but may also include exposure to other areas of the business, such as advertising and the professional information business. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in developing datasets, dashboards, and data solutions that drive core insights. You will report to the Senior Manager, B2C Analytics.You Will:Develop Stakeholder PartnershipsDevelop partnerships with Product, Marketing, Newsroom, Finance, Data Collection, Data Engineering and other B2C Stakeholder Business teams and work across all levels and areas of the organization.Execute data project roadmaps based on Business teams' priorities.Understand B2C DataBuild a thorough understanding of all the B2C data sources that we leverage in our Analysis projects.Partner with data engineers and data collection colleagues to collect, cleanse, and consistently organize data.Analyze large datasets to surface trends and deliver recommendations with tangible business outcomes.Create intuitive reports, dashboards, and data solutions using visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker Studio).Identify ways to improve and streamline processes around data and reporting.Ensure the quality of data and reporting, and partner with teams to improve accuracy and consistency.Clearly CommunicateCommunicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.You Have:Team-oriented and collaborative with eagerness to help others, and aspiration to be challenged and learn.Self-starter able to work independently, coordinate with multiple partners and complete projects start to finish.Detail-oriented with focus on assuring quality, consistency, and accuracy in data and processes.Undergraduate degree or equivalent in combination of training and experience, preferably in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.Experience working with large datasets in a fast-paced and fluid environment with the ability to understand and solve complex non-routine problems.Experience with SQL and strong knowledge of Excel/Sheets required.
