Job Overview:

The F&B Receptionist is responsible for managing the front-of-house operations within the Food & Beverage department. This role involves greeting and seating guests, handling reservations, managing guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the dining area. The F&B Receptionist plays a key role in creating a positive first impression and enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and professional demeanor. Manage the seating of guests, ensuring that tables are prepared and organized according to reservations and walk-ins. Assist guests with special seating requests and accommodate their preferences as best as possible. Handle reservations and booking inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring accurate and efficient processing. Maintain the reservation system and update it with real-time changes and cancellations. Confirm and communicate reservations to guests, including special requests or arrangements. Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies to guests. Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience. Perform administrative tasks related to the F&B department, such as managing the guest waitlist and handling correspondence. Assist with managing dining room and bar supplies as needed, including ordering and stocking. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area. Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the service and kitchen staff. Coordinate with other F&B team members to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction. Provide support to event coordinators and help with the execution of special events or functions. Process guest payments and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately. Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled properly. Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations specific to the F&B environment. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, including proper handling of food and beverage items. Qualifications:

Pleasing personality Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office Able to type 35 wpm minimum Strong phone skills Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance Excellent interpersonal skills Punctual with strong attendance history Job Type: Full-time
