DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESLead the Receiving team to ensure smooth and efficient Receiving operations.Receive vendor-supplied products, manufactured components, kits, subassemblies, and parts.Perform or assign cycle counts to maintain inventory integrity.Coordinate inventory movement between Palm Beach Gardens Make Warehouse and Palm Beach Gardens Manufacturing site.Stock inventory by location and maintain the integrity of the warehouse inventory.Maintain non-conforming stockroom and handle non-conforming materials appropriately.Utilize VLMs machines and WMS Virtual Tray for loading/picking parts, including troubleshooting, as necessary.Extract reports from VLMs machines and support transfers between systems as required.Perform SAP transactions accurately and in compliance with operational procedures.Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary, with proper training certification.Oversee daily mail functions related to metering, sorting, and preparation for pick-up.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.Identify and resolve receiving issues and address any deviations from quality standards promptly.Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize receiving processes and reduce waste.Make decisions and/or recommendations on hiring personnel.Train and mentor receiving staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.Responsible for performance of direct reports, including onboarding and corrective actions.Assist with performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to foster continuous improvement.Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment for all receiving activities.Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.Perform other duties assigned as needed.QualificationsEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONA minimum of a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. A minimum of 4 - 6 years direct Inventory Control and/or Warehouse experience required, and/or combination of education and experience. Preferred experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONSProficient working knowledge of MRP (SAP) systems and Microsoft software packages.Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and computing rate, ratio, and percent.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive and results-oriented approach.Able to enter data on spreadsheet and database applications.Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
