This role requires a proactive individual with a strong command of Spanish property and development laws, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with international clients. The ideal candidate will be able to confidently manage a diverse portfolio of cases involving property transactions, planning approvals, and construction compliance. Key Responsibilities Manage Property Transactions: Oversee the legal aspects of property purchases, sales, and lease agreements, ensuring compliance with Spanish real estate law. Planning & Development: Provide counsel on zoning regulations, land-use laws, and building permits. Guide clients through the process of securing necessary approvals from local planning authorities. Construction Law Compliance: Advise clients on construction regulations and contracts, ensuring all construction projects meet local and national standards. Client Representation: Represent clients in negotiations and legal proceedings, effectively communicating complex legal matters in clear and assertive language. Legal Research and Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive research on real estate, construction, and planning issues, preparing reports and legal opinions to support client cases. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure seamless service for clients, especially on multifaceted cases involving various legal areas. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university. A Master's degree or additional certification in Real Estate, Construction, or Planning Law is an advantage. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in real estate, construction, or planning law, preferably with exposure to international clients in Southern Spain. Language Skills: To serve our diverse client base, proficiency in English and Spanish is essential, along with fluency in an additional European language (e.G., French, German, or Dutch).
