The position offered will be part of the RAN innovation team based in Madrid (Spain) within the Global Access area of the Chief Technology Office (GCTIO) of Telefónica.
The activity will provide a deep understanding of new RAN technical enablers in 6G.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION The objectives of the position offered are:
Analysis of new technical enablers in 6GAnalysis of new capabilities in RAN related to different 3GPP releases and O-RAN specificationsParticipation in European and national research projects, such as those of the SNS and UNICO I+D programsEDUCATION REQUIRED Telecommunications Engineer, with RAN expertise, with more than 3 years of experience working on radio access networks design and evolution.Master Degree mandatorySPECIFIC SKILLS Desirable project management capabilities, but not mandatoryAbility to work in a multinational and multicultural environmentStrong verbal, visual, and written communication skillsCapability to understand business requirements and convert into technological requirementsCapability to interact with providers and integrators to run evaluation processesCapability to identify and resolve problemsCapability to communicate at different levels (directors, engineers, …) to disseminate architecture propositionsDynamic attitude, self-learner and proactiveTECHNICAL SKILLS Strong knowledge in the area of RAN networkKnowledge of 5G and 5G AdvancedCapability to understand network architectures and protocolsProgramming experience, Python in particularEXPERIENCE 2-3 years + experience in RAN Access networkLANGUAGES Advanced English language is mandatoryIf you join us, we offer you...
