We are seeking a Project Manager Rail . He/She will represent the AECOM Madrid team on national and international rail projects including planning for and the ongoing management of scope, cost, quality, risk, safety, health and environment issues.
Tasks: Representing AECOM with internal and external clients for projects under responsibility;
Working within the AECOM project management system using AECOM specified project management tools and procedures to deliver projects;
Project planning, including developing and executing project executions plans for all projects under responsibility;
Leading cross-discipline project teams, building team capability and stakeholder confidence;
Managing the flow of information between the AECOM teams, clients and stakeholders;
Ensuring the production of formal progress and other reports to project directorate and AECOM management;
Supporting the railway technical experts to deliver project output including managing or leading design and technical tasks;
Working within a Project Management Team;
Working within a Railway Design Team;
Working within international projects.
Minimum Requirements: High level of English and Spanish;
5 years + experience as a Project Manager/Engineering Manager/Design Manager;
Experience delivering on multi-million euro infrastructure projects in the transportation sector;
In depth experience and knowledge of project management commissions for large sized infrastructure projects of medium to high complexity;
Preferable experience of delivering international projects;
Preferable experience of delivering railway related projects;
Preferable experience in design consultancy service contracts.
Preferred Qualifications: Civil engineer.
