What we are looking for
In recent months, Qualifyze has undergone a substantial restructuring of our data structures and teams, creating two specialized departments: Data and Business Intelligence. The Data team focuses on Data Engineering tasks, while the Business Intelligence team is responsible for business analysis, requirements gathering, and reporting. As we continue to enhance our Business Intelligence capabilities, we are seeking a talented Business Intelligence Engineer to drive the development of dashboards and unlock the full potential of our data. This role is pivotal in addressing the analytical needs across the organization and empowering all teams to make data-driven decisions. With a robust data foundation and agile team structure, the BI Engineer will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities of a Business Intelligence Engineer
The BI Engineer will work closely with business stakeholders and collaborate extensively with the Data team. Clear communication and strong analytical skills are essential for translating business requirements into valuable analytics solutions. Specific responsibilities include:
Gathering requirements from business stakeholders and determining the necessary data for analysis.Formulating data requirements for the Data Team and performing data checks to validate structures from a business logic perspective.Conducting ad-hoc analyses and creating recurring dashboards using Tableau, adhering to styling guidelines.Managing Tableau Cloud processes, including structure, permissions, and data extractions.Maintaining and expanding current dashboards to support evolving business needs.Helping define business terms and processes for consistency and clarity in data usage across teams.Our ideal candidate is a technically skilled individual with a solid understanding of business concepts. Key qualifications include:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.Proven experience in Business Intelligence or Data fields.Strong proficiency in Tableau for creating dashboards and data visualization.Solid knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis.Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.A passion for data analysis and creating user-friendly, curated visuals.
