Offer DescriptionWe are seeking to recruit a research assistant for the KISON research group of the IN3 of the University. The main purpose of the ARTEMISA international chair in cybersecurity is to provide society with the necessary tools to understand and face the security challenges that arise in the digital environment, considering a multidisciplinary approach emphasizing the importance of regulation and legislation in this area. Strengthening collaboration between the university and the business fabric is another of the objectives of the chair. In addition, ARTEMISA emphasizes the importance of encouraging the active participation and empowerment of women in this field, with the aim of contributing to closing the gender gap and promoting diversity and inclusion in cybersecurity.
Responsibilities:Search and critical analysis of academic articles.Design of solutions (and/or improvement of existing solutions) for federated learning based on blockchain technology.Evaluation of the designed solutions.Writing of scientific articles.Implementation of federated learning based solutions.Evaluation of security and privacy solutions for federated learning.The successful candidate will be awarded a temporary full-time contract of 15 months, starting September 28, 2024. The reference headquarters will be located at 22@, Rbla. Del Poblenou, 156, in Barcelona. We work with an open work model that combines teleworking with onsite work, depending on organisational needs and the nature of the tasks.
What kind of profile are we looking for?Degree in Computer Engineering, Data Engineering or related fields.1 year experience in internships and content.Computer skills at the level required by the degree.Ability to read and write academic texts in English.Oral communication in Catalan, Spanish or English.Languages:
