A career with Kerry offers you an opportunity to shape the future of food while providing you opportunities to explore and grow in a truly global environment.About the role We are looking for an R&D Technician specialised in microbiology and fermentation to work at our site in Granada.Key responsibilities Implementation of laboratory techniques, pilot plant and analytical methods required in their position in the field of development of ingredient production processes and/or applications and/or analysis of ingredients, active compounds or biomarkers from biological samples and/or in vitro assays.Carry out fermentation processes on a laboratory or pilot scale following technical protocols and/or instructions from the supervisor.Application of laboratory analytical protocols.Responsible for the use, condition, controls, and stipulated maintenance of the equipment used in the development of its activity: order, cleanliness, and good use of measuring devices.Updated inventory and control of raw materials and reagents.Attendance to industrial tests for plant implementation of the processes developed.Report deviations or anomalies detected in the system.Distribution and collection of study material and samples.Qualifications and skills Minimum training at FP2 level or, failing that, minimum experience of 2 years performing related tasks in a laboratory.Experience in microbiology and fermentation.Medium level of spoken and written English.Nice to have: experience with forklifts.Planning and organization.Proactivity.Communication and dialogue.
