You'll work alongside young and proactive teammates. You'll be the automatization engineer to work on new products based on cameras and lasers that will allow you to optimize the train's maintenance. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (industrial team, production), ensure that industrial processes are adequate and necessary in time, form, and quality to achieve the objectives of the working group and ensure the reliability and availability of the equipment and much more.You'll specifically take care of proposing, developing and executing projects of applied research and technological development within business services, aimed at the validation in the field of the different developments, but also designing and industrializing products for data acquisition in the railway environment.We'll look to you for:Be responsible for every part of the project delivery lifecycle including: Requirement capture and detailed design of the automation system, ensuring it is maintainable, extensible, reliable, and consistent with company standards. Integration of the software and hardware components into one application. Verification/validation of the complete platform.Collaborate with engineering team to define the architecture and generate the specification of the platform.Perform factory acceptance testing.Perform commissioning on clients' sites.Provide maintenance support (fault finding, diagnosis, and upgrades) to deployed platforms.Participate in Design reviews.Propose new R&D initiatives, gathering ideas from inside and outside of the company.Collaboration and support to provide control solutions in R&D activities.Constant technological vision and knowledge of competitors.Design for Quality milestones and progress follow-up (manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and warranty…).Propose and drive improvement action plans.Guarantee Return of Experience of the deployments to new projects and Tenders.All about youWe value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we've listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:Degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.Master of expertise desirable.At least 4 years' experience in a similar position.Experience of implementing automation systems.
