You'll work alongside young and proactive teammates.You will be the automation engineer to work on new products based on cameras and lasers that will allow optimizing the train's maintenance. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (industrial team, production), ensure that industrial processes are adequate and necessary in time, form and quality to achieve the objectives of the working group and ensure the reliability and availability of the equipment and much more.You'll specifically take care of proposing, developing and executing projects of applied research and technological development within business services, aimed at the validation in the field of the different developments, but also designing and industrializing products for data acquisition in the railway environment.We'll look to you for:Being responsible for every part of the project delivery lifecycle including: Requirement capture and detailed design of the automation system, ensuring it is maintainable, extensible, reliable and consistent with company standards. Integration of the software and hardware components into one application. Verification/validation of the complete platform.Collaborating with the engineering team to define the architecture and generate the specification of the platform.Performing factory acceptance testing.Performing commissioning on the client's site.Providing maintenance support (fault finding, diagnosis and upgrades) to deployed platforms.Participating in design reviews.Proposing new R&D initiatives, gathering ideas from inside and outside of the company.Collaboration and support to provide control solutions in R&D activities.Maintaining a constant technological vision and knowledge of competitors.Designing for Quality milestones and progress follow-up (manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and warranty...)Proposing and driving improvement action plans.Guaranteeing return of experience of the deployments to new projects and tenders.All about youWe value passion and attitude over experience.
