The PositionWe are looking for a Director of Internal Audit for our HQ team to develop and lead internal risk assessment, assurance and advisory activities, as well as enterprise risk management, including audit planning and execution, contributing to strategic initiatives.
Job&Talent's Audit Group is an independent global function responsible for developing and implementing the Company's audit strategy aimed at mitigating a wide range of business, financial, compliance, and operational risks while strengthening Job&Talent's internal controls.
Audit is a critical component of Job&Talent's control and risk management infrastructure and will contribute to overall governance and transparency of Job&Talent as we proceed down the IPO runway.
Reporting directly to the Chairman of the Audit Committee and Chief Finance Officer, the scope of this role includes all business functions in all locations in which the Company operates (10+ markets in Europe, US and LATAM).
Successful professionals in this group will demonstrate a strong understanding of our business, build strong working relationships with business partners and deliver value added services which strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of our global processes.
ResponsibilitiesSet the vision and strategy for the Internal Audit functionDetermine internal audit's resourcing (third-party, hybrid, in-house, etc.)
and build the new Internal Audit team and functionLead Enterprise Risk Management and Assessment for the Company collaborating with business leaders and the Audit CommitteeSelect and implement a risk-based annual internal audit plan, including advisory, operational, and financial risk audits throughout the businessExecute operational, accounting, and CFO/Audit Committee-designated audits throughout the year as required by the annual audit planReport on audit findings, ensure audit remediation items are assigned ownership and tracked, and report on key milestones and execution of audit follow-upsPartner with Accounting in implementing a quarterly disclosure process and implementation of ownership, design, testing, and remediation process for controls over financial reporting and ITLeverage audit technology and data analytics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of audit processesEstablish KPIs to assess the effectiveness and impact of the audit organizationResponsible for the Internal Audit charter approval and monitoring compliance of the Internal Audit functionRepresent the Internal Audit function globally to company leadership, the Board of Directors and regulatory stakeholdersManage the department budget globally and deliver on expectations and goals within budget while finding opportunities for efficienciesDeliver audits timely in accordance with the Internal Audit planYou haveUndergraduate or graduate degree in business administration, finance, economics, accounting, or business management10+ years in internal audit or related functions within a public accounting firm or equivalent experience in a corporate environment3+ years leading a global internal audit functionEnterprise risk management and emerging risk monitoring with an understanding of control models such as COSOAbility to meet multiple, potentially overlapping, deadlines and adapt to changing prioritiesAbility to communicate effectively throughout the organizationDemonstrated capacity for gathering and scrutinizing data to identify issues, opportunities, patterns, and sustainable business solutionsUnwavering integrityNice if you also haveCertified Internal Auditor (CIA) or CPAMBAEnjoy fast-paced environmentProficient ability to work collaboratively with others; conduct working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organizationProficient ability to remain effective under stress, and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and to the organizationExpert project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting prioritiesWhat we're aboutAt Job&Talent, we're revolutionising the employment market globally.
