Join us as an Automation Lead at Alexion, AstraZeneca, where you will be responsible for managing relationships with key business stakeholders and technical partners. Your role will involve leading the generation and prioritisation of re-engineering opportunities across a range of customer groups, driving optimisation of processes through the creation of measurable roadmaps focused on quick wins and short/mid-term implementations.
Accountabilities: As an Automation Lead, you will lead engagement with business leaders, process owners and IT to support identification and capture of new automation and process simplification opportunities.
You will deliver end-to-end oversight and delivery of mapping and analysis of processes through to defining the automation strategy to deliver streamlined processes and improved user experience. You will also ensure necessary change management activities are planned and delivered alongside the technical automation to secure business readiness for production.
Essential Skills/Experience: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, or related, with Six Sigma or Lean Management certification Proven experience in the analysis & re-design of complex, multi-function business processes, ideally within clinical development Project management experience, in one of the following: RPA, Microsoft Power Platform, Workflow or Low Code automation Proven analytical skills with experience of process change and project implementation within clinical development Understanding of regulatory requirements and inspection readiness Ability to operate dynamically with effective verbal/written communication, influencing, and partnering skills Comfortable with working virtually in a global environment Willingness to work 3 days a week from the office and work flexible hours (as required) Fluency in English Desirable: Significant experience of various related BPM capabilities i.e. Process/Task Mining, Robotics Process Automation, Low Code automation, BPM, workflow tools.
