La Morella Nuts Spain is looking for a Sustainable Manager! The Sustainable Nuts Program Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the sustainability strategy for La Morella Nuts and will support the expansion of sustainable nuts throughout BC.
This includes full P&L responsibility, performance management of projects and standard operations, accomplishing business objectives, management of BC's presence in the local sustainability ecosystem, and supporting M&E, client relations, and R&D.
The implementation of the sustainability strategy in Spain aims at creating a positive return for the company, fulfilling nuts sourcing sustainability specs and volumes, fulfilling client and donor contracts, and achieving a positive impact for performance of farmer organization performance and livelihoods of individual farmers.
This comprises implementation of certification, productivity service delivery, and cooperatives development as per planning imperatives following business and development objectives.
The latter should follow the trend of Action - Adoption - Impact.
The position operates within the boundaries of nuts sourcing in Spain and is based at LMN, but is responsible for sustainability operations in all business units in that origin.
Special attention must be given to a productive and mutually supportive cooperation with nuts sourcing (local sourcing partners).
The position requires excellent coordination with all Global Sustainability team functions and origin BUs administration.
Qualifications required: Education: MSc Degree in Agriculture/Business Administration, Management
Experience: 5 years in value chain or comparable program management position
