Qualifications:
10+ years of IT consulting/management experience, with demonstrated IT Digital Transformation experience in customer-facing roles.
Energy value chain experience covering significant portions of Oil, Gas and/or Utilities from exploration through production/generation to retail.
Business consulting experience in transforming customer operations through technology including cloud adoption, IoT, ML/AI, and automation.
Large Energy company account executive experience in IT and business consulting including relationship management, achieving growth targets/sales quotas, high customer satisfaction achievement, project portfolio management, and contract negotiations.
A proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT programs.

If you have a consulting background delivering strong results in the Energy industry (Oil & Gas, Utilities, and/or Renewables), we want you to join the Amazon Web Services Professional Services team as an Enterprise Service Manager (ESM).
The ESM is the 'client partner' and trusted advisor for our largest customers, overseeing a portfolio of projects across the client's landscape. AWS Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base. We are obsessed with delivering success for the Customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a long-term Professional Services strategy and execute that strategy within accounts.
Identify & develop specific opportunities and supporting business cases.
Deal shaping, including estimations and deal pricing.
Contract negotiations & closing.
Planning and implementation of a portfolio of projects, including budget & deliverable responsibilities.
Mitigation of delivery risks & issues.
Oversee delivery of projects in account, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Act as single point of contact for Customer executives, developing deep, trustful relations.
Educate customers on AWS services and translate those into a clear business value proposition.
Envision and inspire customers.
Coach Customer and Partner teams to be self-sufficient.
This is a customer-facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations to sell and deliver professional services as needed within the region.

Additional Qualifications:
Experience with contract and statement of work development.
Background in enterprise IT management frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, cyber, etc.).
Broad enterprise systems technology experience including IaaS/virtualization technologies, cloud, ML/AI.
