Your RoleAs the Quality Assurance Software Engineer, you will participate in QA/validation activities for systems developed by Carrier Corp. You will be responsible for ensuring the product quality, tests verification and system-level testing.
Main Responsibilities:Design of test cases for HVAC system applications and controlsExecuting tests while tracking progress, documenting results, and diagnosing issues identifiedDefect tracking and reportingClose collaboration with software design teams in the process of new product developmentDefining testing approach based on functional requirementsDeveloping test procedures for automated and manual testsPerforming manual and automated tests and troubleshooting analysisWho We're Looking ForYou will succeed in this role if you are a highly motivated, detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional with good communication skills.
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor/Master of Science in Electronics, Software Engineering or related fieldPrevious experience of at least 2 years in a similar positionKnowledge of software testing, design methods and engineering processes, including QA processes and QA methodologiesConsiderable background in quality management systemsGood understanding of electronic hardware principlesKnowledge of industry standard protocols such as BACnet, LON, ModbusScripting experience (Python, …)Sound knowledge of analogue, digital and power electronics, and real-time systemsFluent Spanish and good command of English (spoken and written)Valid EU work permitRequired Soft Skills:Solid analytical and problem solving skillsDemonstrated ability to identify and prioritize key deliverablesProven ability to work independently and as part of a teamWhat We OfferWe offer a variety of flexible working arrangements and development opportunities for you to grow at Carrier.
