The Retail Solutions Project Manager plans, schedules, monitors, evaluates, and directs projects to ensure a complete business solution is implemented across a wide range of first division customers.
Key areas of responsibility:Ensure that projects are completed on-time, within budget and according to specifications.Prepare and maintain detailed project plans and play a leading role in scoping, planning, costing, and pricing projects.Manage customer acceptance of the solutions based on the agreed statement of work and take the lead in resolving all issues.Coordinate the establishment of a project environment that includes preparing and maintaining a roles/responsibility matrix, personnel plan, and resource schedule for each project member.Measure, track, evaluate, and communicate progress against the project schedule using project reports including financials and reporting compliance.Report project status and conduct customer status meetings.Ensure execution and accuracy of monthly forecasts, billings, along with managing procurement and payment of contractors.Cooperate and coordinate with the International organization within the project and customer boundaries.Manage customer expectations and satisfaction.Proactively own and manage escalations as needed for project success.Active participation in presales activities with occasional travel required.The business is ever-changing and the position requires flexibility in task assignments and the ability to work independently as well as in teams in a busy and demanding environment. The position will also involve occasional short business trips.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:5+ years of project management experience.Experience working effectively in challenging solutions implementation environments.Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders - internal PM team, customer, and management.Experience managing complex IT projects.Excellent English skills, written and spoken.Proven consulting skills.Leadership skills even in situations where you do not have a formal leadership role.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Project Management certification.Experience with software development and implementation projects.Experience from the Retail industry is highly valued.Experience with customer management and collaboration.Knowledge/experience in Electronic Payment Methods is a valued plus.
