As a senior Workplace, Health and Safety (WHS) Manager, your role is key to driving improvements on-site and at a regional level. You will manage health and safety standards while improving functionality and efficiency. You'll also manage your team and help them implement changes in response to employee feedback or seize opportunities to continuously make process improvements.Your role is instrumental in keeping employees safe, managing their satisfaction, and supervising their wellbeing and productivity. And we use the expertise of our people to get packages to their destination – quickly, conveniently and sustainably.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSEducation to a degree level and qualification in Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (including specialisations in Seguridad en el Trabajo, Higiene Industrial y Ergonomía & Psicosociología aplicada) following Spanish Health and Safety regulationsRelevant experience managing a teamRelevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislationAdvanced proficiency in verbal and written English and the local languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologiesQualifications or experience in the field of sustainabilityRelevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadershipChartered membership of a Human Resources industry body (e.G., IOSH) to support people managementAmazon is an equal opportunities employer
