Location: CIEMAT, Madrid, Spain Minimum Requirements: Experience with neutrino detectors or low-background underground physics is highly desirable.
Job Description: The selected postdoctoral researcher will be an integral part of the CIEMAT Neutrino Group, which has extensive experience in reactor neutrino experiments and is actively involved in the DUNE and SBND experiments at Fermilab, as well as the ProtoDUNE program at the CERN Neutrino Platform.
The group is responsible for the photon detection system, including characterization, installation, operation of photo-sensors, data analysis, and simulations.
The researcher will work primarily on: Operation and data analysis of ProtoDUNE.
Physics sensitivity studies for the DUNE far detector.
Contributing to the study of solar and supernova neutrinos within the DUNE project.
