We are searching for a Medical Healthcare Partner to cover the north of territory. In this position, you will represent the Medical Affairs Department as an expert in the therapeutic area, establishing and maintaining medical relationships with HCPs through peer-to-peer scientific engagement.Accountabilities:As a Medical Healthcare Partner, you will engage in discussions in specific disease areas, collecting external insights on current medical practice and therapeutic approaches. You will provide a high level of field medical and scientific input, anticipating future needs and planning to fill evidence gaps. You will work in collaboration with other Medical Affairs team members to develop a high-quality field medical plan. Delivering educational programs related to disease awareness, preferably through the development of scientific partnerships, will be a key part of your role. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders: providing training, supporting research teams and being a critical player within the team. Together with other Medical teams (Clinical Operations and Evidence Generation), you will support clinical research activity in the corresponding therapeutic area.Essential Skills/Experience:Advanced scientific degree in a relevant scientific discipline (ex: Medicine, Pharmacy or disease related science)Preferentially experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry, as MHP or within Medical Affairs Professional.Previous Medical Healthcare Partner experienceNative level of Portuguese and fluent EnglishDesirable Skills/Experience:Project management skills: able to plan, execute, promote scientific exchanges with scientific community and monitoring their own project.High-level of scientific knowledge and ability to analyze and process clinical and scientific dataPrevious experience in Lung Cancer / GI Cancer or oncology would be highly regarded.At AstraZeneca, we're all here to make an impact – to achieve our bold ambition of eliminating cancer as a cause of death.
